What You’ll Do

The rich and serene landscapes of the Sahara desert unroll in front of your eyes and unveil its many secrets: curving plateau walls with ochre declinations, and invaluable treasures… Our drivers will expertly drive you through the White Valley dunes, Tezent Canyon, the many oasis (Azoueiga, Tanouchert, Terjit, Mhaireth…) the ergs displaying different colors. You will enjoy the authenticity of the Sahara desert and may uncover some of its mysteries.

These two ancient cities will charm you and offer you calm and serenity. You will taste and imagine the atmosphere of their past when they were famous trading caravan cities.   You will be astonished at their resilience, battled by the never ending assault of the Saharan sands.  Wherever you are, you will always be welcome by the nomadic populations.

With this tour you will get to know the history of Mauritania when visiting the Portuguese forts of Agwedir and El Ghalaouia,  Richat Structure and the prehistoric site of El Beyed. The landscapes will keep you in awe all the way to this northern part of the Adrar.
